  • Fixes an issue where background tasks would be stuck in a loop and not exit

11 July 2010 – Version 2.0.* Build 2000

  • *HUGE* adds support for scheduling reports in SQL Server Reporting Services 2000 and above! (SSRS)
  • *HUGE* adds support for Crystal Reports 2010 beta and the Microsoft Office 2007 Excel format (XLSX)
  • Fixes an issue with some parameters having a parameter type of blank
  • Fixes issues with exporting to CSV
  • Fixes the famous “Load report failed” error message that can be seen when running a lot of reports
  • SSRS reports can export to all the standard SSRS formats as well as PNG and EMF
  • Fixes an issue where checking for blank reports would cause an error when the report was blank

11 May 2010 – Version 1.2.* Build 1007

  • Adds support for Microsoft Exchange (2007 or later) for Email delivery
  • Adds Microsoft SharePoint as a Target
  • Relocates the “External Data” tab to be before setting up reports and only visible if the option is set
  • Refines and tweaks the UI through-out the entire program

18 December 2009 – Version 1.1.* Build 1006

  • Fixes an issue where some of the controls required to create an External-Data driven task were hidden.

14 December 2009 – Version 1.1.* Build 1005

  • Fixed an issue when exporting Crystal Reports  to the CSV format
  • Added the following Post-Processing functions that can be run after the reports are delivered:
    1. Send an email
    2. Write to a log file
    3. Run a program/command
    4. Execute an SQL query

18 November 2009 – Version 1.1.* Build 1004

  • Fixed a critical bug that prevented remiCrystal to run some reports that required login credentials
  • removed animations from the Options screen as this was slow on some environments
  • Added “Data Objects” feature that allows users to pull information from databases into variables for use in emails etc (Advanced Edition only). This can be accessed from the new  [Tools > Data Objects] menu item

17 September 2009 – Version 1.1.* Build 1003

  • Improved application loading times
  • Added access to Task Monitor from within main window
  • Fixed issue with setting remiCrystal for Crystal Reports 11 and Vista UAC that led to continuos looping of application loading

1 September 2009 – Version 1.1.* Build 1002

  • Added compatibility with Crystal Reports 11 and above
  • Added new Trigger types  so that your reports can now be set to run not only on a timed schedule but  On Logon, On Computer Startup and On CPU Idle
  • Added a new Email Logging System so that all emails sent by remiCrystal can be viewed from one unified interface. This is your Sent Items view of remiCrystal!
  • Added the ability to use data in your External database to drive remiCrystal Tasks. This means that a remiCrystal Task can be run for each record in a defined recordset. Further more, you can set it to only run the task if the external data is new
  • Zipped files in Targets can be set to use remiCrystal functions e.g. add a  current date stamp to the Zip file name
  • Improved Task history further by fixing the concurrency issues that may have prevented the history from being written to
  • Fixed a bug that prevented task execution from being cancelled by the user
  • Numerous minor bugs and improvements

30 July 2009 – Version 1.0.* Build 1001

  • Added a new Task Manager that users can use to manage all their Triggers in one place. This new tool can be accessed from Start Menu > All Programs > remiWare > remiCrystal > remiCrystal – Task Manager
  • Fixed an issue where remiCrystal would sometimes fail to log execution history

22 July 2009 – Version 1.0.* Build 1000

  • Fixed an issue where FTP connections using TLS would lose the underlying connection and fail to deliver reports
  • Added a new Splash screen for when initial is taking a few seconds longer
  • remiCrystal’s CPU utilization has been decreased even further when tasks are in a queue
  • Improved the checking of updates when carried out automatically as well as manually
